A new generation of artists

DOMANI—The Art of Tomorrow 2006

Since 1967, the Agency for Cultural Affairs has sent over 2,000 emerging young artists overseas as part of its fellowship program. These fellows are now active both overseas and in Japan with the enhanced overseas experiences. As the presentation of accomplishment by these fellows, we have been organizing “DOMANI,” an exhibition of the works of a new generation of artists since 1998. This ninth “DOMANI” exhibition features sculpture and installation works by nine artists sent as fellows between 1997 and 2002.
